Oxygen therapies

Oxygen is the prerequisite for the metabolism of the cell and thus for life. Stress and high work demands, but also a lack of exercise and the natural aging process, lead to oxygen deficiency symptoms in the body and thus to a restricted energy metabolism. Our mental and physical force, as well as our immune system, become weakened.

An increased supply of oxygen:

  • activates the metabolism
  • improves general condition
  • increases the energy balance of the cells
  • enhances well-being
  • slows down the natural aging process
  • mobilizes the immune system
  • improves blood circulation
  • prevents heart attack
  • brings body, mind and soul into harmony

Hematogenic oxidation therapy (HOT)

Process

Hematogenic oxidation therapy (HOT) is a special form of autologous blood treatment in which blood taken from the patient is enriched with light and oxygen and then reinjected. Approximately 80 ml (1/3 cup) of blood is taken from the arm vein, enriched with pure oxygen and irradiated in a UV tube. The prepared blood is then administered to the patient again. This treatment takes about 30 minutes.

Best used for:

  • Peripheral circulatory problems
  • Angina pectoris
  • High blood pressure
  • Liver diseases
  • Gastrointestinal diseases
  • Crohn's disease
  • Diabetes mellitus
  • Kidney diseases
  • Lipometabolic disorders
  • Skin diseases
  • Geriatrics
  • Cancer prevention and post-care

Effect

As a subset of autologous blood treatment, hematogenic oxidation therapy acts as a stimulus and mood-change therapy. The aim is to intervene gently but effectively in the cell metabolism. Accumulated cell degradation products are eliminated and thus the oxygen supply is improved. This positively influences the blood circulation of the organs and the flowability of the blood.

Ozone Therapy

Ozone (O3) is a tri-atomic oxygen compound O3, an energy-rich form of normal atmospheric oxygen (O2). Medical ozone is always a mixture of ozone and oxygen. Its highly pronounced bactericidal, fungicidal and virus-inactivating properties are used in medical applications.

The irritant gas splits pollutants into their harmless components (=neutralisation). For example, it binds "free radicals" contained in the blood and neutralizes them.

Process

With the large ozone treatment, approximately 50 ml of blood is taken from the patient's arm vein and enriched with a precisely defined amount of ozone. The blood prepared in this way is then returned to the patient as an infusion. This treatment takes about 20 minutes.

During the small ozone treatment, about 10 ml of blood is taken from the arm vein, enriched with ozone and injected into the gluteal muscle.

Best used for:

  • Viral diseases
  • Prevention of viral infections
  • Circulatory problems
  • Immunmodulation
  • Allergic diseases
  • Revitalization
  • Concomitant cancer therapy

Effect

The circulation-promoting property of ozone therapy is used in the treatment of circulatory disorders and for revitalization.

The body's own defenses are mobilized in the low-dose concentration range, i.e. the immune system is activated. In response to their activation by medical ozone, immune cells produce specific messenger substances, the cytokines (such as interferons or interleukins), which inform other immune cells and thus initiate the entire cascade of immune responses. The use of medical ozone to activate the immune system in cases of a poor immune situation and immunodeficiency therefore seems to make sense.

Oxygen Multistep Therapy

Probably the most well-known form of oxygen inhalation is the multi-step oxygen therapy, attributed to German physicist Manfred von Ardenne. In contrast to other methods in which concentrated oxygen is inhaled, this form of therapy is characterized by a combination of three important sub-steps. Oxygen deficits are remedied by different interlocking starting points.

The oxygen multistep therapy is based on three concepts:

  • Vital substance optimization
  • Oxygen inhalation
  • Increased blood circulation through movement training

The intake of vital substances aims to improve oxygen uptake and oxygen utilization in the body's cells. In this way, actual oxygen inhalation can achieve greater success. In this process, 90 percent oxygen is inhaled, which is often ionized beforehand. The inhalation sessions are held several times a week. The third step, movement training, improves the blood circulation in the entire body. It is customized to the patient's age and fitness level. Suitable sports include cycling, swimming and walking. These three steps are repeated several times. An oxygen multi-step therapy course consists of approximately 10 to 18 sessions.

Process

Oxygen is inhaled through a mask or nasal probe for 40 minutes. Oxygen multi-step therapy (SMT) increases the oxygen absorption capacity of the lungs and improves cell function. SMT is divided into three steps: First, a cocktail of vitamins and magnesium is administered to the patient, which promotes oxygen uptake in the tissue. Second, a mixture of oxygen and air is inhaled in a comfortable sitting position via a breathing mask or nasal probe. Third, a course of physical movement adapted to the patient's abilities is developed with the aim of promoting circulation in the tissues and stimulating organ functions.

Effect

Oxygen is crucial to the body's metabolic processes: No energy exists without oxygen. Through the different approaches of multi-step therapy, oxygen uptake can be improved holistically. This serves on the one hand to strengthen the immune system and on the other hand to improve blood circulation.

Best used for:

  • Exhaustion
  • Lack of energy
  • Circulation problems
  • Concentration and memory loss
  • Metabolic disorders
  • Allergies
  • Recovery from serious illness and operations
  • Asthma
  • Chronic bronchitis
  • High blood pressure
  • Migraines
  • Supportive treatment for cancer

Ionized Oxygen Therapy

Ionized oxygen therapy aims to increase a body's lost ability to absorb oxygen. To this end, oxygen atoms are charged negatively or positively, creating a polarization that improves the transfer of oxygen in the lungs.

Benefits of ionized oxygen therapy:

  • Strengthened immune system
  • Increased performance and energy
  • Improved circulation
  • Disease prevention
