Psyche
The term "psyche" describes our mental state of being. This includes everything that makes up our brain -- mind, thinking ability, memories, fantasies, dreams -- as well as our subsconcious and our will. Psyche also includes emotions like joy, anger, fear or anger. Body and mind are inseparable. If our psyche suffers, we often experience physical consequences. For example, sorrow can feel as if we've been hit in the stomach. Physical illnesses that are partly caused by state of the mind are then called psychosomatic illnesses.
Thoughts and feelings influence and shape our lives. With the power of our will and through positive thinking, we can achieve set goals and improve our chances of a healthy and fulfilled life.
