ORAC values of selected foods

The abbreviation ORAC stands for Oxygen Radical Absorption Capacity and refers to the antioxidant capacity of a product. The higher the value, the more free radicals can be neutralized, and the better the antioxidant capacity. The daily requirement of ORAC units is between 5,000 and 7,000 units (nmol TE*/100 g).
